Leo Smart School pupils were in Maxivision Eye Hospital for excursion on Saturday, 8th September 2007. They were received and taken round the hospital by Dr. Mercy Barbara Alogwu, Dr. Chika Ole Kalu, Dr. Ewoma Roselyn Egbowe, Dr. Monique Ifeoma Ocheoha and Dr. Foluke Omojokun Oladele. About 30 students came for the visit and 3 teachers accompanied them. They were shown the ophthalmic equipment used by the hospital in diagnosing eye diseases. This was a result of Teens resources Centre's Award to Maxivision Eye Hospital as the "Eye Hospital of the Year, 2007", in recognition of their contribution in the eye healthcare industry especially as it affects the youth in participation
